About

Hello to all, welcome to my blog! My name is Tara and I am 24 years old. I was born, raised and still reside in a small town in Northern Kentucky. I graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a BA in Marketing and Specialization in Market Research.

I developed my blog to be a place where I can share my passions and life with others having similar interests while hopefully offering motivation and empowerment along the way.

Thank you for stopping by, I am so excited to share with you!

QUICK FACTS

What is your blog about? From Roots She Blooms is dedicated to sharing a natural, non-toxic approach to skincare, beauty and makeup all strongly influenced by Korean beauty culture. Additionally, internal beauty and health are another main focus of this blog. Specifically related to gut health, hormone balance and beautifying skin foods. While not everything I share is 100% natural, this is my journey to find ways to incorporate a more green approach to life, in all its aspects. I am in no way an expert, but this is my life’s passion. I spend countless hours researching and testing products and routines that better myself both physically and mentally.  My goal is to share personal insights with you and hopefully ignite the oh so sweet flame of self-love that comes from taking care of yourself because you deserve it!

Why did you start your blog? I decided to start From Roots She Blooms after this constant nagging voice in my heart kept yelling “FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS” over and over again. Dreams have a way of making themselves known, and it’s in your best interest to follow them. I figured if I was so passionate about this dream then it must hold some opportunity, so I decided to open the door and jump. My hope is to reach others with similar passions and light the way to a healthier, happier lifestyle filled with passion and love.

What is the meaning of your blog name? From Roots She Blooms stems from the idea that from her roots, whether that refers to from the earth, natural origins, foundational, values, strength, etc., she will bloom into the most vibrant, healthy, happy, self-loving, amazing, bad assy version of herself. AKA what we are all meant to be.

I hope you enjoy!
